Here’s your chance to apply for Master’s funding in Digital Health and Care by August 9th 2019!
The DHI is delighted to have received 12 Master’s scholarship applications from five Scottish Universities by the 20th June deadline. We are in the process of awarding these. This makes a total of 9.5FTE places.
Congratulations to all the new Master’s students!
If you missed the June deadline, we are making another 7.5 FTE* scholarships available for application by 9th August 2019. This means there are seven (7) full-time and one (1) part-time scholarship available (or up to 15 part-time scholarships).
We reserve three (3) FTE scholarships for January intake with a deadline in November, BUT you can already apply for these in August as well.
There are three dedicated taught Digital Health and Care Master’s courses in Scotland:
- MSc in Digital Health Systems at University of Strathclyde
- MSc in eHealth (Digital Health) at University of West of Scotland
- MSc in Digital Health at University of St Andrews (please, note – you will need to ensure a Fee Waiver is applied for this course)
We also fund students doing MRes degrees with a Digital Health and Care focus in different disciplines ranging from Design, Sociology, Nursing to Computing.

*The SFC have clarified the funding rules in as much that the part-time scholarship funding can now be paid over two years. Hence, we are able to advertise the scholarships on FTE-basis.
